You think it's working,
but you won't change me."

"hello there! i'm daniel fitzpatrick, i guess you could say i was the one who dreamt up never say never tour in my sleep. i suppose you could call this a "screen through", to see who i'm dealing with for the next while. i hope you don't mind me asking you a few questions. if you do mind... well i'm very sorry but it's mandatory."
"first off, what's your name?"
Why, hello! My name is Megan Hopper, but I'm not a big fan. Friends usually call me by my middle name, Penny, or playfully Pennylane. I like them both. I used to have a friend with the same name as I did and they'd always be like, "Megan1 and Megan2," and that was just... odd. So they started calling me by my middle name, and it just stuck. The whole 'Pennylane' thing is just a nickname; a reference to The Beatles, and well, I enjoy it.[/blockquote]
"okay great! how old are you and when's your birthday?"
I'm twenty! Slightly young, but not too much. I was born December 3rd, on a cold, snowy night. I'm more of a summer person, so not really a big fan of that. It's nice to be out if highschool, you know? It gives me freedom, and makes touring with the band a hell of a lot easier.[/blockquote]
"er.. just checking, are you male or female? no offense, i just think it's safe to say you don't always know these days!"
-laughs- Female, of course![/blockquote]
"why are you here? more so, are you a band member, media personnel, merch, roadie or vendor?"
I am the drummer for the band The Lovlies! It's such a blast. I adore all my female feline foxy frans.[/blockquote]
"what's your sexual orientation, no need to feel shy!"
Straight and boring, it seems.[/blockquote]
"where did you grow up?"
Mmm, I'm from Brooklyn, New York. Best place ever? I believe so. Sure, it can be a little dangerous from time to time, but it's absolutely fantastic. Not even L.A. could compete with our beautiful buildings.[/blockquote]
"tell me a bit about your family."
Well, my parents are divorced. Have been since I was ten. I have a father named Ryan Lane, 40, computer technician. And my mother's name is Lucinda Stack, 41, office worker. My mother is a terrible, well, alcoholic, so that's a big thing that has encouraged me not too drink to much and try to remain innocent. Anyways, so I lived with my dad. Not a huge fan of him either, for he has a bad temper. But he'll do. My brother, Mason, is seven and he lived with my father, too. Dad remarried Ariel Euro, 34, who is a nurse, and strangely, I feel the closest to her, and my brother. She's just so nice. But eh, yeah, I live on my own in an apartment, now. It's nice. And free.[/blockquote]
"how would you describe your childhood?"
My childhood wasn't anything too out of the ordinary. I wasn't anything to brag about. It was just. Hey, I have parents, and they take care of me. I go to school, it sucks sometimes, and it's fun sometimes. I have friends, I have enemies. Yeah. The end.[/blockquote]
"are there any huge events in the past few years that you would say define you today?"
The biggest and most life changing event has to be when our band was signed... words can't even describe how breathtaken I was. We were always slightly serious about our band, but never did I think that we would actually get a record deal, or in fact, get as huge as we have. I'm so thankful, and I'll always remain humble in appreciation in how lucky we are.[/blockquote]
"imagine you win the lottery, what's the first thing you do with the money?"
TAKE OVER THE WOOOORLDDD. ...okay, maybe I won't have enough money for that. But I would defiantly go on a huge shopping spree (What girl wouldn't?)! I would also take a good portion of it and give it to a charity for abused animals, send some to my family to help them out, and continue to put a nice portion of it into savings.[/blockquote]
"what's your general synopsis on love. while we're at it, how's your love life?"
What love life? Ohhh. Non-existent, hah. I like relationships, but they don't seem to like me. I never have the opportunity given to me, I guess. My junior year has made me who I am today, I think. I had my longest relationship, which was a year and a half, but it was very on and off. We would go on breaks for as long as a month, at times. It doesn't sound too bad, but when you're used to talking to that person everyday.. it feels like a huge part of you is missing. So when that happened, I was stupid and tried to fill in that part with pointless kisses with people who didn't matter. They were the type of people who attempted to use me for one night stands, and I will admit that I gave in to a few of them, and then not talk to me the next day. Or ever again, for that matter. It felt like I wasn't good enough for anybody else, so I would always go running back to that one boy who somehow always put up with me. And he knew that. Let's just say... he was terrible. One of those things where he knew how much I cared about him and I couldn't say to no, so would naturally use it against me. It destroyed me. But thankfully now, I grew from it. It was like ridding of a horrible stomach disease. I haven't had a relationship since then, and pretty much no random hookups. Yes, I'm quite lonely, but it's okay. It's nice to know I can be strong on my own, and it'll be worth it when the right guy finally comes along.[/blockquote]
"are you comfortable with your body?"
I'm okay... Not skinny, but not too chuby, persay. I'm about average. Of course, I wish my breasts and backside were bigger, but most girls do. However, I would never get implants. So I guess I'm just comfortable in my own skin.[/blockquote]
"what's your favorite memory?"
The first time us girls played our first gig. That's when I knew everything was just... right. What a rush![/blockquote]
"what's your least favorite memory?"
That whole time period with the ex, like I've stated earlier. No worries, though.[/blockquote]
"do you have any regrets?"
I'm such a pushover, it's ridiculous. But I'm working at getting better.[/blockquote]
"thank you very much for your time, you've been very helpful. i officially welcome you to never say never tour!"

things you enjoy,
Going to shows, meeting new people, theater, playing in the rain, cuddling in front of a fire place on a cold day, crowd surfing, texting, berrets, tennis, experimenting, different hair colors/styles, drumming, late night phone conversations, dresses.
things you can't stand,
Going to harder shows, getting pushed in the mosh pit, school, awkward silences, when you get that urge where you really want to cuddle with someone and you just can't because of that horrible shyness inside of you, nascar.
your hobbies,
Dancing, hanging out, going to plays, watching television, video games.
your fears,
Horror movies! But... in a good way. If that makes sense. I'm so scared of them, but I love the thrill I get when I watch them! That tingly sensation down your spine... yes. But really, I'm terrified of spiders, clowns, porcelain dolls, lakes (I just feel like in every one there's mutated stuff in it), legendary monsters that are probably true, and world domination.
your aspirations,
Become one of the best drummers that I can be, fall in love with the right guy, get in rolling stone!
your quirks,
Clumsy, whenever she gets horribly shy around people she chokes on her words, her face gets massive red when embarrassed.
your strengths,
Drumming, hide&seek, high fives, beating people at video games, friendliness.
your weaknesses,
French fries, tight jeans, sad commercials, amazing hugs, tickle fights.
your secrets,
Prom night, when I wasn't so innocent like I normally am, and this one time where, well, me and a bunch of my friends egged my friend's stupid as hell ex-boyfriend.
anything else,
Besides the fact that she's supah awesomeee? Nope, nothing!

hey my name is gracie! i am seventeen years old and have been roleplaying for 6 years. i found this site from caution!. i'm in the central timzone, so remember that for when you want to plot with me! i definitely looked in the rules and found this little message: ice cream.
It had been a long day, that was for sure. The young woman found it necessary to practice for about three or so hours straight with her and her nifty drums (that she so graciously thanked one of their roadies who set it up for her). She knew that practice made perfect, and even though their band was getting on the lines of "famous", she was far from it. She had a desire and a hungry crave to get better.
Her hands pretty much felt numb now. That was the main reason that she had decided to stop. Titania didn't feel tired whatsoever though, which was slightly odd for her, because the woman always became tired over everything. But in the situation that you would think she'd be the most exhausted, she found herself full of energy and ready to get out into the town. Quickly changing into her clothes, Titania decided to that she would head off to this local mall she heard so much about.
The girl was known for wearing either her tight dresses and big heels, or her skinny jeans with a band t-shirt and some vans; today she went with the dress. It was a long sleeve black one that hugged her curves tightly, and made it to about her upper middle thigh. It took skill to walk in those bulky black heels that she wore the way she did, no lie there. But hey, it was a fashion statement, and she loved it. A black bureau was placed on top of her head, as she clutched a small handbag/wallet in one hand while a vanilla mocha latte in the other.
Titania couldn't help but to blush as she noticed all the looks she seemed to be getting from people who obviously recognized her from the band she was in. Although she should have gotten used to this by now, she really hadn't. It just felt so weird to her. But, of course, she did kind of like it. She would probably never end up admitting to it, though, for she knew how the whole thing worked that if people found out you liked something, they would purposely go out of their way to do it for you. No, she would save that for possibly her favorite beverage; sprite!
Knowing of the fist place that she wanted to go, for she always went there when going to a mall, she quickly walked across the food court to get over to Hot Topic. Everything looked great and normal, and a calm smile spread over her face, knowing that she was in familiar territory. She immediately walked over to where the gauges were sold and looked at them with interest. She herself had never actually worn them, but many of her close friends had quite a fascination from them.
Her eyes skimmed them over as she pointed out to herself that the designs in a lot of them were much different then where she was from. Then again, they were in an entirely new place; it shouldn't be that much of a surprise. But her attention was soon caught by the shirts hanging on the wall. Letting herself strut over to the collection of clothes, Titania bit her lip in temptation. Seeing as she was completely broke at the moment, she was trying her hardest to save her money for more... important things. "Well," she said quietly to herself, "one or two shirts won't hurt." Titania finished as her hand reached out for the black mychildren mybride tshirt.
