asher pushed open the door of her tour bus before stumbling in and collapsing on one of the ever so uncomfortable beds. her chest moved up and down heavily as she struggled to catch her breath, a mixture of excitement and panic. as much as asher loved making music and -once she managed to get on the stage- performing, playing live to that many people terrified her. at times she would suffer from panic attacks and because of this they always had to have a first aid team available for her, fortunately she had never had one on stage which was a big fear for her. gavin, a vendor she had invited over, would probably be over shortly and frankly she looked a mess. her band tended to be quite energetic on stage and well it didn't leave her look all that attractive. finding the energy to get up, she pushed herself off the bed and ran a brush through her hair and changed into a white t-shirt dress and some clean leggings so she looked at least presentable. it was the sort of effort she'd put in for her friends so she figured she at least owed a practical stranger the same sort of courtesy as that. opening one of the beers she'd left out earlier she took a swig, it was kind of warm but it tasted amazing none the less. like a lot of people her age she loved drinking and was pretty good at handling her drink, something she was proud of. dropping back down on her bed she continued to drink the luke warm beer and waited for gavin to arrive. the boys had went to look around a bit and had invited her but she'd declined, seeing as she couldn't exactly just blow gavin off. especially as she had made so much of a fuss about him not standing her up, plus she was quite looking forward to hanging out with someone new. even if their only plan was to get absolutely wasted and probably talk the most random crap ever for a couple of hours. fortunately he had seemed sweet and quite funny so she wouldn't mind acting like a bit of a drunken idiot for a while.

gavin was laughing his ass off with trace and brady, the three of them on top of a building, drunk of course. what they were laughing at, shit who even cared / remembered? gavin stumbled to the edge of the building, laughing so hard that tears began to run down his eyes. "guys, guys." he managed to gasp out. "wouldn't it be hilarious if i just..." he said, jumping off the side of the building.
gavin flung his eyes open, gasping loudly. what a crazy fucking dream. his breathing began to slow down, returning to its normal pace. a second later, his alarm clock on his phone had gone off. beep beep he let out a groan, getting up to shut it down. well, he was up and it was time to to get ready!
he walked over to the babycakes restroom. he noticed paul, the creator of babycakes, and a few other random guys having some drinks in another room on his way over. he waved, but they probably didn't notice them over their drunk laughter. a shiver ran down his spine, his thoughts tracing back to the dream he just had filled with drunk laughs, ending with him committing suicide.
entering the bathroom, he got his face centimeters away from the mirror, his eyes open wide. "suicide, really?" he muttered under his breath. "never thought of that one before." he shook his hide softly side to side, grabbing a tooth brush. quickly rinsing it under the sink water, he plopped a good size amount of tooth paste on the brush and began brushing his pearly whites. he absolutely had to brush his teeth before going out. he didn't want his breath smelling like...well normally booze but right now, that typical after nap smell.
spitting the remains out, he gave himself a good look in the mirror. he was wearing a gray vneck tshirt from american apparel and some dark washed skinny jeans. he ran a hand through his hair, fixing it up a bit. thankfully, his nap didn't mess it up too much. he looked at his shoulders, still a little sunburnt. he grabbed a bottle of aloe vera lotion, smothering it onto both of his shoulders, the skin instantly cooling down.
he walked out of the bathroom, sliding on a pair of black and white nike sneakers. he grabbed his phone, sliding it down his right jean pocket. a bottle of whisky in his right hand, vodka in the left and he was headed out to death crystal's bus.
he had only passed by it once, and his memory of it was vague. he looked around, trying to remember what it had looked like. hell, all the buses basically looked the same. he bit his lip, walking in a random direction. he picked out the first bus that looked familiar, knocking on the door. hopefully, it would be death crystals.

for as long as she could remember asher had wanted to be a musician, when she was little she would spend hours singing and bashing away at her fathers piano. after a while of fearing for his piano's wellbeing he paid for her to have lessons, but she wasn't exactly the type for the classical music they taught her in lessons so she gave up and stuck to singing. luckily enough for asher when she met her two bandmates she met two people who liked exactly the same kind of music as her and had the same passion for creating music as she did. and that was when death crystals was born, they'd been a band for quite a while now but it was only a couple of years ago they'd become serious and gotten signed, now they were on the NSN! tour and she'd never been happier in her life. a knock on the bus door snapped her out of her daze of memories and gave her a little bit of a fright. sure she had been expecting it but she'd been in her own little world which meant she wasn't quite aware of her surroundings for that brief period of time. jumping up she looked herself over in the mirror and applied some more lipstick quickly. although she didn't like to admit it she was quite concerned with her looks, though she was convinced it was the normal thing for girls seeing as so many spent hours on hair and make-up every day. opening the door she saw gavin and smiled at him waving him inside the bus. "hey, you actually came," she joked not wanting to come off as weird and needy when she was really just excited to have some new company. as much as she loved her bandmates living on a bus with two guys got a bit tiring, and even though gavin was also a guy at least it was a fresh face to look at. the two bottles of alcohol in his hands made her smile stretch wider, when she'd told him to bring hard liquor he'd certainly listened and it would be a welcome change from the luke warm beer and schnapps. she didn't have much to mix it with but she was convinced there was some ice in the cooler and she was quite happy to drink vodka straight as long as he was. alcohol was alcohol and she didn't really care what it tasted like as long as it would get her drunk, that was afterall the point of it, if she wanted something that tasted nice she would just drink coke or something like that. "enjoy your nap?" she questioned stepping back to let him enter the bus.

gavin had a feeling that this wasn't the death crystal's bus. dammit, why couldn't all the buses be personalized with all the band's name and what not. oh right, that would involve money...which barely anyone had, especially with this kind of job. oh gosh, 'job.' would you even consider being on tour a job? i mean, sure for gavin it was. he was being paid to sell clothes for babycakes, and why lie? he was damn good at it, which is why paul always hooked him up with free merch. instead of seeing gavin is something perhaps 'normal', you'd probably see him in bright colors and designs. he didn't have much money to spend on clothes, so he definitely took advantage of the employee discount / hook up. if he wasn't wearing babycakes clothes, he was probably wearing some plain colored t shirts he either got as gifts from parents or those value packs sold at target.
after waiting for a little bit in front of the tour bus's door, gavin felt the need to leave and continue to search for the correct bus. that was until the door swung open and a familiar asher greeted him. his signature half smile appeared on his face, glad he didn't leave. "of course i came! i would never flake on a beautiful girl like you." he said flirtatiously. asher was was without a doubt beautiful. not just hot or sexy, but straight up beautiful...and gavin couldn't help but like that.
gavin couldn't help but notice her eyeing the bottles of alcohol he had brought along with him. a small laugh escaped his mouth. "are you a vodka kind of girl," he asked holding up the bottle, "or a whiskey?" putting the vodka back down, the whiskey up in the air.
he stepped into the bus, taking a look around. "nice place you guys got around here. still seems to be in one piece. surprising since you live with all boys." he said truthfully. there weren't any girls on the babycakes bus, and it was an absolute mess almost all of the time. there were people constantly over, whether to hang out or for a party paul was throwing, which was basically every night. obviously, people weren't going to clean up after themselves, and gavin wasn't about to start cleaning up after them, so they kind of just left it there. oh well. knowing paul, he'll hire a maid one day of the tour eventually.
"eh..." his voice trailed off before starting back up again, "let's not talk about that." he said, setting down the two bottles of alcohol onto the first table that entered his sight.

asher couldn't help but blush at his compliment, she wasn't a shy person and she knew damn well that she was at least relatively attractive. but most guys told her that through actions and not words so she wasn't exactly used to being told she looked good, let alone beautiful. trying to surpress the redness in her cheeks she smiled wider, "well if you weren't so damned lovely yourself i'd probably think you were taking the piss," she joked, hoping he didn't notice her slightly more flushed appearance. that was a good question, she didn't really have a favourite kind of alcohol, she would generally drink what was on offer just for the sake of it. "i'm not bothered, what ever gets me more drunk," she told him finishing the beer she had opened earlier. seeing as her bandmates were boys she was used to drinking pretty heavily, seeing as she'd had to learn to keep up over the years, and had grown used to drinking whatever sort of disgusting concotions they came up with. looking around her tour bus she had to agree with him, she was actually quite surprised with how well kept the place was, especially since she never even bothered to tidy up. "we like to trash other peoples buses instead, so consider this an honour." it was almost the truth. she did prefer drinking on other peoples buses but she wasn't the sort to trash them, throwing tv's out of windows and all the cliche rock stuff bored her. as far as she was concerned it was all about the music and the drinking and partying was just an added bonus. she was quite aware a lot of bands enjoyed being completely wild and crazy, but it was far from her style and she wasn't going to change her ways just to fit in with some peoples preconceived notions. hearing his voice waver slightly in relation to his nap she decided not to push the subject. everyone had secrets and she wasn't going to share hers so she wouldn't push him to share his. "ok," she replied, before adding quickly "well you seem refreshed which is always a good thing." it was all she could really say without making him feel awkward, and considering she thought she'd have some fun with him she didn't want that to happen.
