"hello there! i'm daniel fitzpatrick, i guess you could say i was the one who dreamt up never say never tour in my sleep. i suppose you could call this a "screen through", to see who i'm dealing with for the next while. i hope you don't mind me asking you a few questions. if you do mind... well i'm very sorry but it's mandatory."
"first off, what's your name?"
My name is Ashton Michael Nelson and I was pretty sure my mom had her church group name me. My dad didn;t really have an opinion considering he walked out on us the day before I was born[/blockquote]
"okay great! how old are you and when's your birthday?"
I am 19 years old, legal drinking age in Canada. I was born February 14th, yes on Valentine’s, day at noon. Most people got chocolate, I got presents. Valentine’s day is my favourite day of the year.[/blockquote]
"er.. just checking, are you male or female? no offense, i just think it's safe to say you don't always know these days!"
Male, definitely male. I’d show you but I think we’re all more mature than that. I have facial hair anyways, it’s obvious I am not a woman.[/blockquote]
"why are you here? more so, are you a band member, media personnel, merch, roadie or vendor?"
I’m here to sing with Inverse Midas, I’m here for the Music. Who isn’t here for the music? If it’s just about commercialism it’s not what I’m about. I’m all for the Music and the tour is a place to get my band known. It’s an amazing experience and I love spending it with my band screaming the night away.[/blockquote]
"what's your sexual orientation, no need to feel shy!"
Straight, guys just don’t do it for me. I prefer the ladies, it’s who I serenade[/blockquote]
"where did you grow up?"
Windsor Ontario Canada but my mom moved us to Toronto after daddy disappeared. I’m not American and Damn proud of it![/blockquote]
"tell me a bit about your family."
I am a momma’s boy. She raised me herself and daddy doesn’t exist. He walked out on us and on my mom so I don’t even acknowledge his existence, even if he doesn’t have one anyways. My mom’s Church group is my extended family you could say. They are as much a part of my life as she was and it gave her hope even if God didn’t exactly do it for me. So my Family is the picture perfect one, you got a problem with it come and talk to me about it.[/blockquote]
"how would you describe your childhood?"
It was shit but it was better than what could have happened. My mom raised me by herself and even though I was born in Windsor I was raised in Toronto. My mom joined a church group and they gave her a job and a whole bunch of other stuff. We lived in a crappy apartment and a drug dealer lived underneath us. I went to Sunday school as a kid and to church every Sunday when I out grew Sunday school. So I have a very catholic back ground but I’m agnostic. Anyways I love my mom and she gave me everything she could so even if my childhood wasn’t great, it could have been much worse.[/blockquote]
"are there any huge events in the past few years that you would say define you today?"
Forming Inverse Midas was the biggest high point in my life. Just finding everyone and making music with the people I love it’s great. Since the fan base went up I’ve been as high as a kite, it’s like nothing could bring me[ down and now the Tour... life can’t get any better than this.[/blockquote]
"imagine you win the lottery, what's the first thing you do with the money?"
Give it to my mom. She deserves it.[/blockquote]
"what's your general synopsis on love. while we're at it, how's your love life?"
Love didn’t work for my mom so why would it work for me? Sure I flirt and sleep around but It’s not love. It’s purely Lust.[/blockquote]
"are you comfortable with your body?"
Yeah, I'm six feet of muscle even if I'm scrawny. My hair can sometimes seem greasy but it's not, I like it the way it is and if you ahve a problem with hair, that's a bit much.[/blockquote]
"what's your favorite memory?"
My mom baking me cookies every Saturday. Sure it’s corny but it’s my favourite memory[/blockquote]
"what's your least favorite memory?"
The day I was old enough for my mom to tell me that my dad walked out on us. I took it bad and I didn’t come home till the next day[/blockquote]
"do you have any regrets?"
When I was thirteen I blamed my mom for my dad leaving and we had a huge fight... Worst day of my life and i’ve regretted it since[/blockquote]
"thank you very much for your time, you've been very helpful. i officially welcome you to never say never tour!"

hey my name is Ash! i am 16 years old and have been roleplaying for 1 years. i found this site from Caution 2.O. i'm in the Eastern timzone, so remember that for when you want to plot with me! my other characters are none yet, so check them out too. i definitely looked in the rules and found this little message: Ice cream.
Instead of thinking about what to say when Ashley went to her mom’s home, she thought about her shift tonight at the bar. There was supposed to be a band playing tonight and she would definitely have major damage control to deal with. Even though a lot of the workers drank on the job, Ashley didn’t. She knew how she could get when she was completely wasted and she didn’t need to become another bands groupie.
Ashley pulled into the driveway and sat there, thinking about what the hell she was doing. She already knew her mom and step-dad weren’t home because neither of their cars was parked in the driveway and the garage was open for some reason revealing no car there either. She didn’t know if her step-brother was home either so Ashley would just have to go and get it over with. She pulled her keys out of the ignition and got out of the car. She turned around at least three times on her way to the door before she sucked it up and used her key to get inside.
It was as calm and homey as the last time she had been here. She wanted to come back so much but she didn’t want to burden her mom and her new dad and brother with her presence. Ashley only had one more year left at Halley and she was done. Then she could go out and maybe learn how to ink, set up her own tattoo shop. Ashley had a sketch book of new tattoo designs in her car and in her apartment for when she had a break. Every other free hour was spent working, at school, asleep, or trying not to drink at her second job.
Her heels made clicking noises as she walked down the hall and into the kitchen. She dropped her keys on the counter and leaned on it. Her mom was definitely not home otherwise Ashley would have been subjected to motherly love and motherly guilt by now. Instead she shook her head and ran a neatly manicured and tattooed hand through her hair before walking down the hall to her room. It still had boxes and it didn’t seem like her mom had done anything with it. Her posters were still up, her books still in their shelves and her boxes still on her bed. Ashley sat down on her bed and remembered crying herself to sleep every night, cutting herself to express the pain she could never voice and ultimately letting herself die piece by piece on the inside. When the door opened she nearly had a heart attacked and she snapped back into reality. She looked down at her wrists only to realize she was tracing all her old scars. She sat on her hands and looked over towards the door and gave a sheepish smile. She didn’t know who was standing there but she could only guess it was her step-brother.
